Status: Available See who's in a group, understand each member's access status, and know what the member count includes.
Every group keeps a list of its members. You can view that list and each member's access status from the group's record in Groups (/admin/content/group).
Viewing a group's members
Open the group in Groups (/admin/content/group) and look at its Members list. Each entry is one member's spot in that group, with their access status attached.
Access status
Each member's place in a group carries an Access Status. There are three values:

| Active | The member currently has access. They can see the group and take part. |
| Expired | The member's access has lapsed (for example, a subscription ended or a time-limited product ran out). They no longer have access. |
| Suspended | Access has been deliberately revoked. Suspension is permanent and won't come back on its own. |
A member with active status is the only one who can actually see and use the group.
Suspension is permanent
When a member is suspended, that's final. It will not auto-restore, even if the member renews a subscription or buys access again. Treat suspension as a deliberate, lasting action, not a temporary timeout.
What the member count includes
The member count shown on a group is not the count of active members only. It includes expired and suspended members too.
So if a group shows 40 members, some of those may no longer have access. The number reflects everyone who has ever held a place in the group, not just the people who can currently get in. Keep that in mind when you read the count as a health signal.
The count also updates a few minutes after changes rather than instantly, so a brief lag after someone joins or leaves is normal.
