Status: Available Set how your community shows up in search and link previews, link your own terms and privacy pages, and choose where member support emails go.
These three small screens fine-tune how your community appears to the outside world and how members reach you. All of them are optional, and none of them block your community from going live. Set them when you're ready.
SEO: how you show up in search and link previews
Open Community Settings > SEO & Sharing (/admin/content/cs_seo).
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Meta Title | The title shown in search results and browser tabs, up to 60 characters. Falls back to your community name if you leave it empty. |
| Meta Description | A short description for search engines and link previews, up to 160 characters. |
| Share Image | The image shown when your community link is shared on social media. Falls back to your hero image if you leave it empty. |
| Search Engine Indexing | Whether search engines are allowed to list your community. On by default. Turn it off to keep your community out of search results. |
If you want your community to be findable on the web, leave Search Engine Indexing on and fill in a meta title and description. If you'd rather keep it private and invite-driven, turn indexing off.
Legal: link your own terms and privacy pages
Open Community Settings > Legal (/admin/content/cs_legal).
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Terms URL | An external link you provide to your own Terms of Service page. Shown in the footer. Leave it empty to hide the link. |
| Privacy URL | An external link you provide to your own Privacy Policy. Shown in the footer. Leave it empty to hide the link. |
Both are optional, and both are external links to pages you host yourself (for example, a policy generated with Termly or iubenda, or a Notion page). As the community owner you are the data controller for your own members, so your privacy policy should disclose that you use TribeCrafter (the platform) and Stripe (payments) as processors. TribeCrafter's own platform privacy terms are provided centrally; these fields are for your pages.
Support email: where member messages go
Open Community Settings > Email & Support (/admin/content/cs_email).
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Support Email | The address where member support messages are sent. Not shown publicly. |
Set this to the inbox you actually watch so member questions reach you.
A note on language and currency
These aren't set here, but they come up alongside these settings:
- Language is English and is fixed, so there's nothing to set.
- Currency is set on the Community Settings > General screen, not on these screens.
