Set your branding & theme

Status: Available Set your community name, logo, favicon, tagline and brand color, and let one color drive your whole theme. Your branding is the first thing members see, and it carries through the navigation, sign-up screens, browser tab and the emails your community sends. You set all of it in one screen. Where to set it Open Community Settings > Branding & Identity (/admin/content/cs_branding). Everything below lives here. The fields | Field | What it does | |---|---| | Community Name | The name of your community. Shown in the header, on sign-up and sign-in screens, in emails, and as the browser tab title. Required, up to 30 characters. | | Logo | Your logo as a PNG or SVG. Appears in the navigation, on auth screens, and in emails. | | Favicon | The small icon shown in the browser tab. | | Tagline | A short one-liner shown in the footer, up to 60 characters. Also used as a fallback description for search engines if you leave the SEO description empty. | | Primary Color | Your brand color. This is the one input that drives your theme (see below). | One color drives your whole theme You only pick a single Primary Color. From it, the system automatically builds the full set of shades it needs for good contrast (lighter tints, darker accents, hover states), so buttons and accents look consistent everywhere without you tuning each one. That derived palette applies across the member site, the auth screens, and your emails. You don't edit it by hand; set the one color and the rest follows. The default brand color is #6D5BD0 (a violet) until you change it. Steps 1. Open Community Settings > Branding & Identity (/admin/content/cs_branding). 2. Fill Community Name (up to 30 characters). 3. Upload your Logo (PNG or SVG) and a Favicon. 4. Add a Tagline if you want one in the footer. 5. Set your Primary Color. 6. Save. Your name and logo are also your community's identity in members' notifications When your community posts updates or sends notifications to members, it does so under your Community Name and Logo. Setting both well means those messages look like they come from your community, not a generic system account. Go-live note Both Community Name and Logo are part of your go-live checklist. Your community can't go live without them, so fill them early. Related - Edit your landing page - Welcome message & community guidelines - SEO, legal links & support email - Your go-live checklist

Edit your landing page

Status: Available Build the logged-out landing page visitors see before they sign up: hero, benefits, call-to-action, and a curated showcase of your real content. Your landing page is what people see before they join. It's the only marketing surface a visitor gets, so it's worth filling out completely. You edit all of it in one screen. Where to edit it Open Community Settings > Landing Page (/admin/content/cs_landing_page). The hero The hero is the top section of the page. | Field | What it does | |---|---| | Hero Eyebrow | A small label shown above the headline (for example, a category or a short hook). Up to 60 characters. | | Hero Headline | The main headline. Required. Up to 85 characters. | | Hero Subheadline | A supporting sentence beneath the headline. Up to 200 characters. | | Hero Image | The main image for the hero. This image also doubles as the social-share preview if you don't set a separate share image in SEO. | Hero Headline is the only required field on this screen. The rest are optional, but a fuller page converts better. Benefits Add up to 4 short benefit points shown below the hero. Each one has a Title and a short Description. Keep them about what your community offers in general, not a single course or event, so they stay accurate as your content grows. Call-to-action band Near the bottom of the page is a closing call-to-action. - CTA Headline: the headline for the band. Up to 80 characters. - CTA Subtext: a supporting line beneath it. Up to 200 characters. Curated picks: showcase your real content Curated Picks lets you hand-pick specific items to feature on the landing page. You can mix: - Courses - Groups - Events - Blogs Only the items you explicitly add to this curated picks list appear on the landing page. This is separate from an item's own Featured flag: marking a course, group, event or blog as Featured does not put it on the landing page. To showcase something here, you must add it to Curated Picks. Pick a few of your best, most representative items so visitors see what your community is actually about. Steps 1. Open Community Settings > Landing Page (/admin/content/cs_landing_page). 2. Fill the Hero Headline (required), then add an eyebrow, subheadline and hero image. 3. Add up to 4 Benefits (title + description each). 4. Write your CTA Headline and CTA Subtext. 5. Add a few Curated Picks: real courses, groups, events or blogs. 6. Save. Welcome message & community guidelines

Status: Available Set the welcome message new members see right after signing up, your About text, and the community guidelines every member must accept. Guidelines are required to go live. This screen holds the text new members read as they join. The most important field here is your Community Guidelines. If it's empty, your community can't go live and no new member can finish signing up. Fill it. Where to edit it Open Community Settings > Community Content (/admin/content/cs_content). The fields | Field | What it does | |---|---| | Welcome Message Heading | The heading of the welcome message shown to new members right after they sign up. Up to 50 characters. | | Welcome Message Subtext | Supporting text beneath the welcome heading. Up to 300 characters. | | About Community | A short description of your community, up to 500 characters. Optional, and not shown publicly today. | | Community Guidelines | The rules every member must read and accept before they can use the community. Rich text, up to 5,000 characters. Required to go live (see below). | Community guidelines are a hard requirement, twice over Your Community Guidelines field blocks you in two places if it's empty: 1. Go-live. Your community can't move from setup to live until guidelines are filled in. It's a check on your go-live list. 2. Member onboarding. New members must tick a box to accept the guidelines as the last step of signing up. If the guidelines are empty, every new member gets stuck at that step and can't finish joining. So this isn't an optional nicety. Write your guidelines before you open the doors. They use a rich-text editor, so you can add headings, lists and links. Cover the basics: what the community is for, how members should treat each other, and what's not allowed. The welcome message The Welcome Message Heading and Welcome Message Subtext are the first thing a new member reads in onboarding, before they fill in their profile and accept the guidelines. Both are part of your go-live checklist, so set them too. Keep it warm and short: tell people they're in the right place and what to do first. Steps 1. Open Community Settings > Community Content (/admin/content/cs_content). 2. Write the Welcome Message Heading and Welcome Message Subtext. 3. Fill in Community Guidelines using the editor, and don't leave it empty. 4. Add About Community text if you want it. 5. Save. SEO, legal links & support email

Status: Available Set how your community shows up in search and link previews, link your own terms and privacy pages, and choose where member support emails go. These three small screens fine-tune how your community appears to the outside world and how members reach you. All of them are optional, and none of them block your community from going live. Set them when you're ready. SEO: how you show up in search and link previews Open Community Settings > SEO & Sharing (/admin/content/cs_seo). | Field | What it does | |---|---| | Meta Title | The title shown in search results and browser tabs, up to 60 characters. Falls back to your community name if you leave it empty. | | Meta Description | A short description for search engines and link previews, up to 160 characters. | | Share Image | The image shown when your community link is shared on social media. Falls back to your hero image if you leave it empty. | | Search Engine Indexing | Whether search engines are allowed to list your community. On by default. Turn it off to keep your community out of search results. | If you want your community to be findable on the web, leave Search Engine Indexing on and fill in a meta title and description. If you'd rather keep it private and invite-driven, turn indexing off. Legal: link your own terms and privacy pages Open Community Settings > Legal (/admin/content/cs_legal). | Field | What it does | |---|---| | Terms URL | An external link you provide to your own Terms of Service page. Shown in the footer. Leave it empty to hide the link. | | Privacy URL | An external link you provide to your own Privacy Policy. Shown in the footer. Leave it empty to hide the link. | Both are optional, and both are external links to pages you host yourself (for example, a policy generated with Termly or iubenda, or a Notion page). As the community owner you are the data controller for your own members, so your privacy policy should disclose that you use TribeCrafter (the platform) and Stripe (payments) as processors. TribeCrafter's own platform privacy terms are provided centrally; these fields are for your pages. Support email: where member messages go Open Community Settings > Email & Support (/admin/content/cs_email). | Field | What it does | |---|---| | Support Email | The address where member support messages are sent. Not shown publicly. | Set this to the inbox you actually watch so member questions reach you. A note on language and currency These aren't set here, but they come up alongside these settings: - Language is English and is fixed, so there's nothing to set. - Currency is set on the Community Settings > General screen, not on these screens. The announcement banner

Status: Available Show a short, site-wide message to logged-in members, with an optional button. The announcement banner is a single line that appears at the top of your community for logged-in members. Use it for something timely: an upcoming event, a new course, or planned maintenance. You set it up in Community Settings > Promotion (/admin/content/cs_promotion). Turn on the banner 1. Open Community Settings > Promotion (/admin/content/cs_promotion). 2. Turn on Announcement Enabled. 3. Write the Announcement Message (up to 100 characters). A leading emoji is fine. 4. Optional: add a button by filling both Announcement CTA Label (up to 20 characters) and Announcement CTA URL. If you fill one, you must fill the other. 5. Save. The button The button is optional and only appears when both the label and the URL are set. The URL has to be a full web address starting with https:// or an in-app path starting with /, for example /courses. Leave both fields empty for a message-only banner. Who sees it The banner shows to logged-in members across your community. Logged-out visitors don't see it. Members can dismiss the banner. If you change the message later, it shows again to everyone, including members who dismissed the earlier version. Turning the banner off and back on does not bring it back for people who already dismissed it. Only changing the message does. Banner or announcement? The banner is a one-line nudge that sits at the top of the screen. A broadcast announcement is a fuller message that lands in each member's alerts. For anything longer than a single line, send an announcement instead. See Send announcements to your members. Related - The promo widget - Send announcements to your members

The promo widget

Status: Available Show a small promo card in the newsfeed sidebar, with an image and a button. The promo widget is a card that appears in the newsfeed sidebar for logged-in members. Use it to highlight an offer, a featured course, or anything you want members to notice while they browse the feed. You set it up in Community Settings > Promotion (/admin/content/cs_promotion), the same screen as the announcement banner. Set up the widget 1. Open Community Settings > Promotion (/admin/content/cs_promotion). 2. Turn on Promo Enabled. 3. Fill the content: - Promo Eyebrow (up to 30 characters): a small label above the title, such as "PARTNER OFFER". - Promo Title (up to 60 characters): the headline. - Promo Description (up to 160 characters): one or two short lines. - Promo CTA Label (up to 20 characters) and Promo CTA URL: the button. Both are required when the widget is on. - Promo Image: an optional image, roughly 16:9. 4. Save. The button When the promo widget is on, both the Promo CTA Label and Promo CTA URL are required, so the card always has a working button. The URL has to be a full web address starting with https:// or an in-app path starting with /, for example /plans. Who sees it The promo widget shows to logged-in members in the newsfeed sidebar. Logged-out visitors don't see it. Promo widget or announcement banner? Both live on the Promotion screen and you can run them at the same time. The promo widget is a card in the sidebar with an image, room for a description, and a button. The announcement banner is a single line across the top of the screen. Use the widget for a standing promotion and the banner for a short, timely notice. See The announcement banner. Related - The announcement banner - Edit your landing page
