Buying a product

Status: Available Add products to your cart, check out, and unlock the courses, groups, and premium blog posts a product includes.

A product is a one-time purchase. You pay once, and it unlocks whatever access the product comes with. There's no recurring charge.

How buying works

  1. Find a product you want and add it to your cart. The cart holds products only, so you won't see plans or courses sitting in there.
  2. Open your cart and check out.
  3. Payment is handled by Stripe on a secure checkout page. Enter your card details there.
  4. Once the payment goes through, your access is unlocked right away.

Products are paid, so checkout includes a payment step. Free content — like free groups and free courses — isn't bought through a product; you just join it directly.

What a product unlocks

You don't buy a course, a group, or a premium blog on its own. Instead, a product (or a plan) unlocks them for you. A single product can include any mix of:

  • One or more courses, which you're enrolled in automatically once the purchase completes.
  • One or more groups, including private groups you couldn't join before.
  • Premium blog posts, which you'll then be able to read in full instead of just the preview.

What's included is decided by the community when they set the product up, so check the product page to see what you're getting.

How long the access lasts

Each product gives you one of two kinds of access:

  • Lifetime. The access stays yours and doesn't expire.
  • For a set period. The access lasts a fixed amount of time and then ends.

The product page tells you which kind it is before you buy.

A note on subscriptions

A product is a one-time payment. If you're looking at something that charges every month or every year, that's a plan, not a product, and you subscribe to it instead. Plans don't go in the cart.
