Subscribing to a plan

Last updated on Jul 23, 2026

Status: Available Subscribe to a plan for recurring access to the courses, groups, and premium blog posts it includes.

A plan is a subscription. Instead of paying once, you pay on a repeating schedule, and your access lasts for as long as the subscription is active.

Monthly or yearly

Plans renew on a set cycle. Depending on what the community offers, a plan bills either:

  • Every month, or
  • Every year.

The plan page shows the price and how often you're charged before you commit.

How subscribing works

  1. Pick the plan you want and start checkout.
  2. Payment is handled by Stripe on a secure page. Enter your card details there.
  3. Once the subscription is active, the access is unlocked right away and stays unlocked while you keep the subscription.

Plans are paid, so checkout always includes a payment step. Free content — like free groups and free courses — doesn't need a plan or a payment; you just join it directly.

What a plan unlocks

Like a product, a plan unlocks access rather than being a thing you "own." You don't subscribe to a course, group, or blog directly. The plan unlocks them. A plan can include:

  • Courses, which you're enrolled in automatically while the subscription is active.
  • Groups, including private groups.
  • Premium blog posts, which you can then read in full.

The difference from a product is that this access is live. It's tied to your subscription staying active, not granted once and kept.

One subscription at a time

You can have one active subscription at a time. If you're already subscribed and you choose a different plan, the new one replaces your current one rather than stacking on top of it. There's more on that in the article on managing your subscription.
