Courses are structured lessons inside your community. Some are free to enroll in directly; others are unlocked when you buy a product or subscribe to a plan. Here's how to get into a course and work through it.
Free courses: enroll directly
If a course is free, you can enroll in it yourself. Open the course and start it. There's nothing to buy and no waiting.
Paid courses: unlocked by a product or plan
You never buy a course on its own. A paid course is unlocked when you buy a product or subscribe to a plan that includes it. Once your purchase or subscription gives you access, you're enrolled and the lessons open up.
If your access came from a subscription, the course stays available while that subscription is active.
Working through the lessons
A course is made up of lessons. Each lesson can be one of a few formats:
- Video lessons you watch.
- File lessons with something to download or open.
- Text lessons you read in the course itself.
You move through the lessons at your own pace.
Your progress is tracked
As you complete lessons, your progress is saved. You can leave a course and come back later, and it remembers where you left off.
Certificates
Some courses issue a certificate when you finish. If a course offers one, you'll receive it after you complete the course. Not every course has a certificate, so you'll only get one where the course is set up to give it.
