Your community can host events, both online and in person. You can browse them, say you're coming, and add them to your own calendar. Here's how.
Browse events
You can browse upcoming events from the events area or by searching. Each event has its own page with the details: what it is, when it's happening, and whether it's online or in person.
RSVP to an event
To say you're coming, RSVP on the event page. It's a simple yes. There's one response, so RSVPing just marks you as attending. If your plans change, you can change your RSVP.
Add it to your calendar
You can add an event to your own calendar from its page. This downloads a calendar file (.ics) that you open in your calendar app, which adds the event with its date and time.
Online vs in-person events
- Online events have a join link on the event page. Use it to join when the event starts.
- In-person events have a location with a map so you know where to go.
What you can't do
You can't create events. Events are set up by your community's admins. As a member, you browse events, RSVP, and add them to your calendar.
