Status: Available Add your name, photo, and bio so other members know who you are, and learn how to edit it later.
Your profile is how other members recognize you across the community. You set the basics during onboarding, and you can change any of it whenever you like.
What you set during onboarding
As part of onboarding, you fill in three things, and all three are required:
- Your name. Your first and last name.
- A profile photo. Your avatar, shown next to your posts, comments, and messages.
- A short bio. A sentence or two about you.
Optional extras
Beyond the basics, you can add more to your profile:
- A cover photo. A larger banner image at the top of your profile.
- Your location.
These are optional, so you can skip them and add them later if you want.
Editing your profile later
Nothing here is locked in. You can go to your profile at any time and update your name, photo, bio, cover photo, or location. Changes save to your profile right away.
Who can see your profile
Your profile is visible to logged-in members of the community. People who aren't signed in don't see it.
One thing to know: your list of connections, followers, and who you're following is only visible to members you're connected to. Other members can visit your profile, but they won't see those lists unless you've connected with them.
